About us

Saffron Building and Renovations is run by Mark Coutts. After spending many years running his own construction company in Spain, he returned to England with his family in 2012. He then provided construction and site management services within the education sector, before setting up SB&R. Saffron Building and Renovations became a Limited company in June 2019.

Mark has experience in the renovation of old buildings as well as the construction of new builds. In Spain, he regularly undertook renovations of stone farmhouses, barns and outbuildings, using a variety of techniques and construction materials. In the UK, he has successfully completed many projects: house extensions, garage conversions, kitchen installations, fitting of new windows/doors etc.

A skilled builder, he and his team will confidently undertake any works (big or small), bringing on board professional external contractors where necessary to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
